I graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in Lincoln. I continued my education with a General Practice Residency at the University of Mississippi and went on to complete my Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Harbor General Hospital in California.

I am Board Certified by the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. I am an active member of many professional groups including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Iowa Society of Oral Surgeons, Midwest Society of Oral Surgeons, American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Council Bluffs Dental Society and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

I am happily married with three sons. I enjoy spending time outside hunting, fishing and golfing.
