Patient Information > Insurance

At Oral & Facial Plastic Surgery we make every effort to provide you with the finest surgical care and the most convenient financial options.

Our insurance coordinators deal with many different insurance companies. Some companies offer as many as six different dental and medical plans. Some companies combine dental and medical insurance. This insurance alphabet soup changes policies and guidelines almost weekly.  At times, it is almost impossible to accurately estimate our patient's insurance co-payment.  Many insurance companies will not give out fees until after the treatment has been completed.  Dealing with insurance policies can be difficult and time consuming. As a courtesy, we ask that you keep us informed of any change to your insurance. It is important that all information about you and your insurance be current.

Private & Group Insurance:  Because many of our procedures are covered under medical and/or dental insurance, it is important to contact your carrier before the scheduled procedure to verify oral surgery benefits.   As a courtesy, we will file your insurance claims for you.  Upon receipt of an insurance payment, any balance due will be billed to you.  If you have deposited an excessive co-payment, it will be refunded to you.  Please bring your insurance card with you to the consultation so that we can expedite reimbursement.

If you have any problems of questions, please ask our staff.  They are well informed and up-to-date. Please call if you have any questions or concerns regarding your initial visit.
